Pumpkin Seed Brittle

1 jar Purveyors Kitchen Creamy Caramel Dessert Sauce

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

Non-stick spray


1Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray parchment paper with non-stick spray. Spray a non-stick sauce pan with non-stick spray.

2Fill with jar of Purveyors Kitchen Creamy Caramel Dessert Sauce. Cook caramel steadily on medium heat. Don’t walk away. Caramel burns easily. Caramel also burns. Handle with extreme care.

3Cook until hard crack stage is achieved, around 300 degrees. If you don’t want to break out the candy thermometer, cook it until sugar climbs the side.

4Add pumpkin seeds to caramel. Stir quickly and carefully. Empty caramel into reserved baking sheet.

5Allow to set about 10 minutes. Break into desired pieces. Hoard or give away to trick or treaters of all ages.
