Purveyors Kitchen Chocolate Mousse

Light, airy and chock-full of chocolate flavor, Purveyors Kitchen Milk Chocolate Dessert Sauce and a few ingredients is all you need to make this five-star dessert.

  • Yields: 6-8 servings


1 9 oz. jar Purveyors Kitchen Milk Chocolate Dessert Sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp instant espresso, optional


1Remove lid from Purveyors Kitchen Milk Chocolate Dessert Sauce. Melt in microwave until loose, about 30 seconds. Stir into a cup of cold heavy cream. Add in your espresso powder if you wish.

2Cool your chocolatey cream mixture in the fridge for an hour. Freeze your stand mixer’s whisk attachment.

3Whip the cooled mixture on high for 5 to 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form. DON’T WALK AWAY. If you over-beat it, it will curdle and be disgusting. Once it’s whipped, place in a clean bowl, cover in plastic wrap and cool a few hours before serving.

4FOR CREAM SIPHONS: Fill your favorite cream siphon with the mixture and whip according to manufacturer’s directions.

Dress with seasonal berries, or chocolate shavings for an even prettier dessert.
