Uptown Tri Tip

A stress free cut of barbecue that’s big on flavor.

- Yields: 6-8 servings
1Combine all spices in a small bowl. Liberally season your Tri Tip roast on both sides.
2In a lightly greased pan, sear your roast on medium high heat until golden brown, about 5-8 minutes each side. Remove roast to clean plate. Lower heat to medium.
3Add a bottle of beer to the pan. Scrape off all the brown bits with a spatula. Add Purveyors Kitchen Raspberry Chipotle BBQ sauce to pan and stir to combine. Cook until reduced by half, about ten minutes.
4Add rested roast to a slow cooker. Cover in pan juices. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
5Remove roast from pan and slice thick. Serve with cooking juices.
